Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 27 September 2026

These terms and conditions govern your use of the Ultima Ratio Ltd website and the services we provide. Please read them carefully. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. Definitions

In these terms:

  • "We", "us", "our" means Ultima Ratio Ltd.
  • "You", "your" means the person using our website or services.
  • "Services" means the private ambulance and medical transport services we provide.

2. About us

Ultima Ratio Ltd is a UK-based private ambulance service. We provide drone-enabled and traditional medical transport support subject to availability, clinical suitability, and regulatory requirements.

3. Use of our website

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not use it in any way that breaches applicable local, national, or international law, or in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful.

We do not guarantee that our website will be available at all times or free from errors. We may suspend, withdraw, or restrict access to all or part of our website for business or operational reasons.

4. Medical services and clinical responsibility

Ultima Ratio Ltd provides private ambulance and medical transport services. The scope of care provided during any incident is determined by our clinical team based on the patient's condition, operational circumstances, and applicable clinical guidelines.

In life-threatening emergencies, you should always contact the NHS emergency services by dialling 999. We are not a replacement for the NHS emergency services. Where appropriate, we may work alongside NHS and other emergency responders.

Decisions regarding patient care, including transport destination and treatment provided, are made by qualified clinicians. We will always act in the best interests of the patient within the resources available.

5. Bookings and contracts

A contract for our services is formed when we confirm your booking in writing or by email. All bookings are subject to availability and clinical assessment. We reserve the right to decline or cancel a booking if we believe the service is not clinically appropriate or operationally feasible.

You must provide accurate and complete information when requesting our services. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by inaccurate information provided by you.

6. Fees and payment

Fees for our services are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and are subject to agreement before a booking is confirmed. Payment terms will be set out in the relevant quotation or contract. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due in advance of the service being provided.

We may charge additional fees for waiting time, changes to the booking, or circumstances outside our control that increase the cost of providing the service.

7. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation terms will be confirmed at the time of booking. In general, cancellations made with reasonable notice may be eligible for a refund or credit, less any non-recoverable costs incurred. Cancellations made at short notice or after a crew has been deployed may not be eligible for a refund.

8. Limitation of liability

We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. However, our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question, except where liability cannot be excluded by law (such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

We are not liable for any loss or damage that is not reasonably foreseeable, or that arises from events outside our reasonable control (including, but not limited to, severe weather, airspace restrictions, technical failures, traffic conditions, or delays caused by third parties).
